System overview
The management of distribution rooms has traditionally been a weak point in the reliable functioning of power supply systems. Issues such as overheating and flooding in distribution rooms can affect equipment operation and cause equipment damage, potentially leading to equipment burnout and affecting normal power supply to customers. The absence of automated environmental monitoring in power distribution rooms necessitates manual inspections by maintenance staff. This method is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but it also fails to provide real-time status updates or resolve issues immediately.
As unmanned substations become more commonplace, the auxiliary monitoring and management of the substation environment to ensure electrical safety is crucial. In alignment with the State Grid's prerequisites for state control and professional management, we have independently developed and designed the EnvPower Power Distribution Environment Management System. This system is a combined solution incorporating environmental monitoring, video surveillance, access control alarms, and SF6 gas alarms. It offers integrated monitoring of power, environment, video, and safety, considerably enhancing operation and maintenance efficiency and guaranteeing the routine operation of the distribution room.
System architecture
Main functions
EnvPower power distribution environmental management system allows for real-time collection and monitoring of operational parameters and states from various intelligent environmental sensor devices.
· Internal Monitoring of Power Distribution Equipment
· It monitors the internal operating environment of power distribution equipment comprehensively, including the internal temperature and humidity of power distribution equipment, video, etc.
· Air Conditioning Monitoring
· By integrating with a smart air conditioner controller, it enables local and remote linkage control of the air conditioner. Facilitate customizing the operational mode of air conditioning systems, including options for cooling,
dehumidification, ventilation, and more.
· Temperature and Humidity Monitoring
· The system monitors the temperature and humidity of the power distribution room and sets linkage parameters. Through the linkage control of dehumidifiers or smart air conditioners, the system can effectively prevent
overheating, excessive humidity, and frost formation.
· Water Immersion Monitoring
· Monitoring for air conditioning leakage and window water ingress helps to prevent flooding in the power distribution room.
· Access Control
· Door lock control can be facilitated through card swiping, and it can also perform a series of functions such as center opening and temporary authorization. Additional features include alarms for unauthorized door
openings, door opening timeout alarms, security linkage, and fire linkage.
· Light Control
· We offer both local and remote control of lights, interlocking control, and timed switching functions.
· Video Surveillance
· Through the use of video monitoring equipment, a range of alarms can be triggered. It can facilitate the linkage between power distribution equipment switches, such as knife switches, and videos. Linked screenshots
and videos can be captured, recorded, and reviewed.
· Smoke Monitoring
· Utilizing smoke sensors, we ensure prompt fire detection and alerts, thereby minimizing fire-related losses.
· Warning Alarm
· Through comprehensive monitoring of the power distribution room and analysis of big data, faults can be predicted in advance, and early warning information is promptly issued.
· SF6 Gas Monitoring
· It integrates an SF6 density sensor, enabling real-time monitoring of indoor SF6 concentrations, automatically generating alerts when the density exceeds the set limit, and even initiating ventilation via wind turbine
linkage.
This system is suitable for new residential areas, distribution rooms, government entities, office buildings, commercial buildings, tourist sites, and other State Grid scenarios. It provides a cost-effective integrated solution
for environmental auxiliary management systems.
